Before any purchase, the customer must have read and accepted the following conditions of sale.
1. Security
The security of this site is managed by Toriton, Inc, Japanese official partner of COMODO group based in England. Encryption SSL (security sock Layer) allows the payment on line in full safety. For more information, please consult the following site: www.comodogroup.com. Payments are carried out by bank card Visa, Mastercard or by Paypal service. The prices are expressed in Euros or US dollars.
2. Taxes
a. VAT : Concerning the shipping of goods, our company is not subject to the payment of the VAT. If any, you will have to pay this tax as of reception of your order. On the other hand, our company will not charge the customers with the Japanese VAT.
b. Customs tax : You will also have to pay customs tax of 3.7% (tariff in force for Europe) as of reception of your parcel. You recognize that the prices posted on our site are expressed excluding VAT and customs taxs.
3. Shipping costs and Delivery
a. Shipping costs : the shipping costs are calculated automatically at the end of the ordering process made by the customer on our site. - For the fishing rods whose length reached 1m50 and beyond, the shipping costs are about 30 to 40 euros per kilo. For all other goods, the shipping costs are about 23 euros per kilo. It is possible, in this last case, to have sliding scale tariffs as the weight is high.
b. Shipping and Delivery :
After checking by our banking services the credit of your payment in its entirety (price of the goods and shipping costs), we ship out the product(s) by EMS-Chronopost or UPS. We will address you by e-mail a tracking number so that you can constantly track the location of your parcel while consulting the site of the messenger (www.chronopost.com or www.ups.com). The time to delivery is approximately 7 days after recording your order. Please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for late delivery, we will always do our best to ensure that the customer receives the goods when expected. When receiving your parcel, you will have at once to check the contents and the good conditions of the goods in front of the deliveryman. In the event of a problem (different or deteriorated goods...), please return the entirety of the parcel to the deliveryman. We deal with the expenses of return. Indicate it on the delivery order by e-mail by specifying us the references of your order.
4. Summary : What the customer have to pay (example)
For a better comprehension of what the customer has to pay, please look at the following example (we chose the French V.A.T for this example. Adapt the V.A.T of your country if any, price of these goods was the current price in April 24th 2004)
Stella 10000 : 626 euros
Shipping cost : 32 euros
Subtotal : 658 euros
VAT (19.6%) : 125 euros
Customs Tax (3.7% in Europe) : 13 euros
Subtotal : 138 to pay at the delivery messenger (UPS or EMS) at the reception of the parcel
Total : 658+138 = 796 euros
5.Returns
Goods for return must be notified to us within 7 days of receipt. In this case, you will have to return the intact goods in their packing of origin accompanied by their possible accessories, notes, and instruction manuals to us. In the event of return, we will refund you the price of the goods except shipping costs in the 15 days following the reception. The cost of returning the goods safely to us is your responsibility. We may not be able to accept back non-faulty goods that have been supplied to your specific order or damaged during return transit or fitting, the goods must be returned to us in saleable condition.
6.Warranty
We carry out 5 years warranty maintenance (with fixed price for repairs) on the goods we sell. Please be also aware that some goods can be different from those imported into Europe or U.S and for this reason makers represented in Europe and U.S like Daiwa, Shimano, its subsidiary companies and its distributors may not be able to ensure any after-sales service, supply of accessories and spare parts.
6-litigations
Our company is not responsible for the material or immaterial damages even corporal who could result from a misuse or faulty operation of a good sold on our site. In the event of litigation, only the Japanese laws will be qualified.
